Saudi deputy FM meets with British officials during London visit

RIYADH: Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister Waleed Al-Khuraiji met with the UK’s Minister of State for the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia and UN at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office in London on Monday.

During the meeting which was attended by the Kingdom’s ambassador to the UK Prince Khalid bin Bandar, Al-Khuraiji and Lord Tariq Ahmad of Wimbledon reviewed bilateral relations and ways of enhancing and developing them in various fields.

They also discussed important regional and international issues of common concern and efforts exerted with regard to them.

Al-Khuraiji also met with Minister of State for Development and Africa Andrew Mitchell, and the two officials reviewed aspects of economic and development cooperation and opportunities for developing it in light of the Saudi Vision 2030 in a way that achieves the goals of sustainable development for both countries.

The Kingdom’s deputy foreign minister also held a meeting with the UK’s Deputy National Security Adviser for International Affairs Sarah MacIntosh.
