- The Saudi Ambassador to Jordan attended the farewell ceremony
AMMAN: The first group of Jordanian pilgrims left for Makkah on Wednesday to perform the Hajj, Jordan News Agency reported.
Mohammad Khalayleh, Jordan’s minister of awqaf Islamic affairs and holy sites, said during the farewell ceremony that the ministry had aimed to provide the means of comfort for the pilgrims.
Saudi Ambassador to Jordan Naif bin Bandar Al-Sudairi also attended the event.
Khalayleh thanked the Kingdom and its ambassador for “constant” cooperation in providing means of comfort for Jordanian pilgrims in Saudi Arabia.
