Khaled Saleh Al-Hammad has been the corporate performance and organization transformation vice president at the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones, known as MODON, since 2017.
He is in charge of corporate strategy governance and planning, process and risk management and quality management.
MODON has been undertaking the development and supervision of industrial lands and integrated infrastructure. Today, it oversees 36 existing and under-development industrial cities across the Kingdom, in addition to private industrial cities and complexes.
Over the course of his career, Al-Hammad has been a representative of the industry and commerce minister, a board member on the Industrial Creativity Award, and a board member at ASAS Co. from 2018 to 2022.
In 2011, Al-Hammad was business development section manager at MODON, where he developed business products and services for industrial, logistics and housing until 2015.
In addition to that, he was a relationship officer at Al Rajhi Bank Corporate Finance from 2008 until 2010, where he achieved a significant increase in the client base, and an information system aide at Saudi Electricity Co. organization studies from 2005 until 2008, where he designed an operation and responsibilities manual.
He was a team member of the global investments attraction program in Saudi Arabia, as well as a team member to transform and merge five electrical companies to a holding company, and finance over 10 companies with a total of SR1.7 billion ($450 million).
Al-Hammad was granted the EFQM Global Award, designed to recognize the world’s best-performing private, public or not-for-profit organizations, with four stars in 2022; the King Abdulaziz for Quality and Organization Excellence Award in 2018 and in 2022; the Digital Government Award in 2021; and the Dubai organization excellence award in 2019.
Al-Hammad gained a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from King Saud University in 2005, in addition to an entrepreneur fellowship from Johns Hopkins University in the US in 2011, executive leadership in critical times from Stanford University in 2020, as well as undertaking more than 25 short courses on project management, financial analysis and planning.
