RIYADH: An Armenian women has told a Lebanese news website she was kidnapped in Beirut by Hezbollah in January.
The lady, who spoke anonymously, told Sawt Beirut international, she was visiting Lebanon with her friends to celebrate New Year’s holidays when they were kidnapped and held for four days.
The woman said she and her friends were bundled into the back of a black SUV while they waited for an Uber outside the hotel they were staying in.
She said she was unable to provide any other details of the men or the area they were taken to.
She told the website they were not given food or water during the time they were held.
But she said her captors told the women they were suspected not to be Armenian.
She said they spent four days in a house, that she believed was a Hezbollah base before being transferred to a Lebanese police station where they were eventually freed.
