Haneen Al-Qunaibit is a leader in the jewelry design industry and the inventor of a jewelry ornament with clasp mechanism, for which she was granted a utility patent in the US in 2021.
She is the founder and creative director of Amarin Jewels, a fine jewelry brand based in Riyadh and New York City.
Al-Qunaibit held various roles for Charmaleena Jewellery from 2018 until 2019. She was involved in Saudi Design Week as a sales and marketing associate, responsible for new high-end jewelry.
She also worked as a sales associate and was responsible for marketing Charmaleena’s collections at the Dakakeen Exhibition in Riyadh and the Jewellery Salon.
Before working in the jewelry industry, Al-Qunaibit started her career in the banking sector, working as credit control and monitoring section manager at the Banque Saudi Fransi, where she also worked as a credit admin officer.
From 2011 until 2013, Al-Qunaibit worked at Mamas Bakery in Riyadh.
She obtained a jewelry design and technology diploma and a jewelry design certificate from the Gemological Institute of America in New York City.
During her studies, Al-Qunaibit won first place for the Students’ Choice Award for jewelry design. It was one of the finalist designs for the 2018 Gianmari Buccellati Foundation Awards in Arizona.
She also attended Gemological Institute of America at the Robert Mouawad Hall in Carlsbad, California, where she received a graduate jeweler diploma, graduate diamonds diploma, diamonds and diamond grading certificate, and other qualifications between 2017 and 2019.
She received a bachelor’s in business administration from Al-Yamamah University with a major in management information system and a minor in quality management in 2011.
