DUBAI: The First Lady of the United States seems to be a fan of Lebanese designer Reem Acra’s creations.

Jill Biden on Wednesday stepped out in graceful long sheath mauve dress, designed by Acra for a state dinner at the White House in honor of South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol and his wife Kim Keon Hee, who wore a chiffon skirt, a white blazer and white gloves.

In November, the granddaughter of US President Joe Biden, Naomi, opted for a wedding dress by Acra for her reception at the White House.

The bride wore a lace Ralph Lauren gown for her nuptials, but changed into the Mikado silk Reem Acra gown for the reception and cake cutting festivities.

The strapless ivory silk Mikado dress featured her grandmother Roberta Buhle’s pearls sewn into the six-foot train. For late-night dancing, she changed into a fringed Markarian mini-dress.
