UAE thanks Saudi Arabia for evacuating nationals from Sudan

DUBAI: The UAE’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al-Nahyan thanked Saudi Arabia for evacuating UAE nationals from Sudan to the Kingdom.

Sheikh Abdullah thanked Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan during a phone call on Monday and praised the “outstanding efforts” made by Riyadh in carrying out evacuations in cooperation with various countries

The two ministers also discussed international efforts exerted to stop the situation in Sudan escalating.

The Kingdom evacuated more than 150 people, including foreign diplomats and officials, from Sudan on Saturday.
