RIYADH: The cultural attache at the Saudi Embassy in the US organized a Ramadan Bazaar event on Monday that drew both Muslim and non-Muslim communities in Washington, DC.

The bazaar included 30 shopping pavilions as well as a Ramadan tent serving popular holiday dishes from across the Kingdom.

The event was among many organized by the embassy during the holy month. In partnership with Saudi student clubs in the capital, the attache held the Ramadan Volleyball Championship Cup and a series of Ramadan nights. Many university faculty members, as well as students learning Arabic, also attended.
