MANAMA: Represented by the director of the Arab Countries Operations Department, Bandar Al-Obaid, the Saudi Fund for Development, also known as SFD, participated on Saturday in the partial opening of a one-way bridge within the development project of Al-Fateh Street in Bahrain.
The opening was held in the presence of the Undersecretary of Bahrain's Ministry of Works, Sheikh Mishaal bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa, among other officials.
The development project of Al-Fateh Street, funded by the SFD within its development activity in Bahrain, aims to contribute to the traffic flow from north to south.
Al-Fateh Street is the main road facilitating traffic, starting from King Faisal Street in Manama to Al-Juffair. These areas represent the utmost investment destinations for residential and commercial real estate in Gulf country.
The project is the embodiment of the development cooperation existing between the brotherly countries to achieve sustainable development goals in establishing sustainable cities and local communities.
It also aims to strengthen development partnerships between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
Saudi Arabia aims to support the development sectors in the Kingdom of Bahrain through the SFD for the purpose of strengthening the historical relations and close partnerships between both countries.
