Saudi HRC president holds talks with Netherlands deputy PM

RIYADH: The president of the Saudi Human Rights Commission, also known as HRC, Dr. Hala Al-Tuwaijri, met on Friday with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands Wopke Hoekstra during his official visit to Saudi Arabia.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, as well as aspects of cooperation in the field of human rights and ways to enhance them, in addition to other topics of mutual concern.
Earlier, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan met with Hoekstra to review Saudi-Dutch relations on Thursday.
The ministers also discussed current regional and international developments, including the Russian-Ukrainian crisis and international efforts aimed at finding a political resolution in order to achieve peace and security.
The meeting between the two foreign ministers was attended by the Deputy Minister for Political Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Saud Al-Sati.
