RIYADH: Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz, deputy governor of Jazan region, handed over more than 600 housing units for the most needy families in the region.
The handover coincided with the launch of the “Jood” charitable housing subscription campaign at the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan.
The ceremony was held in the presence of Aiman Saleh, deputy minister of housing and beneficiaries support at the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs.
The deputy governor said he appreciated the successes achieved by “Jood” campaign, which is in line with the objectives of the Saudi leadership.
The campaign aims to provide adequate housing for all citizens with multiple options that suit all segments of society.
The reception was attended by the Mayor of Jazan Region, Yahya Ghazwani, and the governorate’s assistant undersecretary for rights, Saeed Al-Khanfari.
