The Saudi start-up was established in 2015 by young women who wanted to find a solution for problems they encountered on a daily basis, such as their headphones tangling, so they decided to create a case to tackle the problem.
The business took off after they made the items for themselves. Currently, A&A Handmades work with a factory that employs older women on fixed incomes. This contributes to preserving the promised quality and benefit society by empowering older women with jobs.
The brand was nominated to participate in the Janadriyah Festival 2016 by Al-Waleed Foundation for Humanity. They have also participated in events like Al-Soudah Season, Montijoon Producers Exhibition, and others.
