DUBAI: Jordan’s Royal Hashemite Court has announced that Princess Iman bint Abdullah II and her fiancé, Jameel Alexander Thermiotis, will wed on March 12, 2023.
“The Royal Hashemite Court is pleased to announce that the wedding of Her Royal Highness Princess Iman bint Abdullah II and Mr. Jameel Alexander Thermiotis will take place on 12 March 2023. The Royal Hashemite Court extends its sincere congratulations to Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah on this occasion, and wishes Her Royal Highness Princess Iman and Mr. Thermiotis a lifetime of happiness,” a post on Instagram, shared on Sunday, read.
Princess Iman is the eldest daughter of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al-Abdullah of Jordan while Thermiotis is a managing partner at a New York based Venture Capital fund. He was born in Caracas, Venezuela, in 1994, but is of Greek descent, according to Hello magazine.
Thermiotis graduated in 2015 with a specialisation in Business Administration and Business from Florida International University. He led a venture capital firm named Outbound Ventures LLC after graduating, before moving to a New York based Venture Capital fund.
“Congratulations my dearest Iman; your smile has always been a gift of love that I’ve cherished since the day you were born. I wish you and Jameel a life filled with love and laughter!” Queen Rania shared on social media when the engagement was announced in July 2022.
