RIYADH: Saudi Arabia reported 21 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, according to the Ministry of Health.
The total number of cases in the Kingdom over the course of the pandemic has consequently grown to 827,828.
The authorities also confirmed two new COVID-19-related deaths, raising the total number of fatalities to 9,568.
Of the new infections, 10 were recorded in Jeddah, three in Riyadh and two in Dammam. Several other cities each recorded one new case.
The ministry also announced that 32 patients had recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 815,418. It said 2,842 cases were still active.
A total of 16 patients are in critical condition, according to the ministry.
