DUBAI: Saudi Arabia has condemned the recent terrorist attack which took place near Afghanistan’s ministry of foreign affairs in Kabul on Wednesday.
The terror network Daesh later claimed responsibility for the attack.
The suicide bombing left at least five people dead and more than 40 wounded.
The bombing was the second major attack in Kabul in 2023, drawing condemnation from the international community.
Saudi Arabia’s ministry of foreign affairs expressed its complete rejection of all forms of violence, terrorism and extremism in its statement, reported state agency SPA.
It also affirmed its solidarity with the Afghan people, extended its condolences to the families of those killed, and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
Meanwhile, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) also condemned the deadly attack in the Afghan capital.
