Whether you’re after shots for Instagram or just a relaxed time, try these salt lakes across the Middle East.

How could a list of salt lakes to explore possibly not include the Dead Sea in Jordan? So salty you an float.

  • Namak Lake

This largely dry lake in Iran offers an otherworldly landscape stretching to the horizon. A remnant of the Paratethys sea, which began to dry millions of years ago.
