LONDON: Saudi TV presenter Eleen Suliman has made an appearance on the 100 most beautiful faces list 2022, which ranks the most beautiful actors and musicians of the past year.
The presenter, who is also a fashion influencer and a model, came in at No. 38 on the list that is published annually by TC Candler and the Independent Critics since 1990.
Egyptian actress Mai Omar also made the cut. She was ranked eighth on the list.
“I’m super excited and thrilled to announce that I’m the first and only Egyptian celebrity to win ‘The 100 most beautiful faces of the world 2022,’” she told her 13 million followers on Instagram. “Many have been nominated before but for the first time an Egyptian celebrity makes it to the final list and wins, and placed as the 8th. Thank you very much @tccandler I’m very honored.”
The Independent Critics are a diverse group of approximately 20 people living in various parts of the world who put together a list representative of the modern ideal of worldwide beauty.
Candler is a writer and the creator of a movie review website. He has also teamed up with a few other critics to form another website devoted to movie reviews, celebrity interviews and opinion columns.
