RIYADH: Under the patronage of King Salman, the 10th International Conference on Water Resources and Arid Environments is scheduled to be held between Dec. 26-28 in Riyadh.

Organized by King Saud University, represented by the Prince Sultan Institute for Environmental, Water and Desert Research, the three-day event will be held with the participation of the Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz International Prize for Water, the Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud Foundation and the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture.

The conference aims to develop knowledge of the environment, water and deserts; utilize modern techniques in the studies of arid and semi-arid regions and their natural resources; and exchange experiences among decision-makers, experts and scientists in a bid to find solutions to the challenges related to water and the environment.
