Six artists who performed at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 closing ceremony

The 2022 FIFA World Cup came to a scintillating finish with Argentina lifting the cup. However, before the final match, a number of artists took over the football field for an energetic closing ceremony at the Lusail Stadium in Qatar. Here are some of the performers: 

  • Davido 

    The American-Nigerian artist's music famously blends traditional African elements with global mainstream pop and performed “Hayya Hayya.” 

  • Ozuna 

    The Puerto Rican reggaeton and trap singer is one of the best-selling Latin American music artists of all time, with five of his studio albums topping the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart. 

  • Aisha 

    Qatari singer gave her melodious voice to the first FIFA World Cup track, “Hayya Hayya.” She featured in the music video with artists Trinidad and Davido. 

  • Gims 

    The Congolese French rapper and singer-songwriter earned his first top 10 spot on the Billboard Latin chart with the track “Arhbo,” from the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 soundtrack, recorded with Ozuna. 

  • Balqees 

    The Emirati singer and actress, hailing from Yemen, features heavily on the FIFA World Cup anthem “Light the Sky,” which also features the vocals of Iraqi singer Rahma Riad and Morocco’s Nora Fatehi. 

  • Manal 

    The Moroccan singer-songwriter is best known for her contemporary interpretation of Arabic music and performed “Light the Sky.”
