RIYADH: Sheikh Mohammed Al-Issa, secretary-general of Muslim World League, received the Ambassador of Sweden to Saudi Arabia, Eric Salmgren, at his office in Riyadh on Friday. They discussed a number of topics of common international interest.
The two countries are focusing to boost their economic ties. Swedish companies have operated in the Kingdom for more than 70 years. Saudi Arabia is Sweden’s largest economic partner in the Middle East and a major trade partner among the Scandinavian countries, with the volume of trade exchange in the past five years.
