DUBAI: Tickets for the Formula E Diriyah E-Prix have been made available early for racing enthusiasts inside and outside the Kingdom for a period of 12 days.
The Organizing Committee of the Formula E on Friday revealed that tickets for the event’s fifth edition have become available early to visitors and the public via the link www.diriyahseason.sa.
Organized by the Ministry of Sports in cooperation with the Saudi Federation of Automobiles and Motorcycles, and as part of the activities of the second edition of the Diriyah Season, the race will be held on Jan. 26-27 next year.
In one of the most important UNESCO World Heritage Sites, the Diriyah International Circuit hosts exciting races and competitions, with the participation of 12 teams and 24 contestants across 18 rounds in 13 cities.
The competitions of the latest edition will witness two successive races on floodlights at night, by lighting the racetrack with LED technology, which is designed to reduce energy consumption by up to 50 percent compared to other lighting technologies, in line with the goals and programs of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
The Diriyah E-Prix is a historic motorsports event within the Diriyah 2022 season and has a huge fan base in Saudi Arabia and around the world, as the historic Diriyah is the stage for hosting the second and third rounds of the Formula E World Championship 2023 after the Mexico City round on Jan. 14.
