DUBAI: At least one person was killed and three people injured when a residential building collapsed in Imbaba, Egypt on Tuesday, the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population said.
A civil defense official told Al-Hadath news channel: “The five-floor property was occupied by six families and our teams continue the search for casualties and survivors.”
Video footage showed rescue teams and civilians searching the rubble of the building in northern Giza.
Five ambulances were dispatched to the scene. One of the three injured people remained in hospital, while the other two were discharged after treatment.
