RIYADH: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) launched a voluntary plastic surgery campaign to help burn victims and patients with deformities in Socotra Governorate in Yemen.
The campaign, which will continue until Oct. 28, attracted 13 volunteers from various medical specialties who have so far performed 15 surgeries, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
In a statement, KSRelief said the campaign was part of Saudi Arabia’s support to the healthcare sector in Yemen.
Meanwhile, the center’s mobile clinics in Al-Hodeidah served 41,496 patients of various health conditions and provided 15,733 patients with medications during September.
