JEDDAH: Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman received the players of the Saudi national football team on Sunday at his office in Jeddah, along with members of the technical and administrative staff, who are preparing for the FIFA World Cup, Saudi Press Agency reported.

The Green Falcons are currently in preparation camps for the World Cup, which is scheduled to start in Qatar next month, and sealed a 1-0 win over North Macedonia on Saturday.

The meeting with the players was held in the presence of Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sports, and the President of the Saudi Football Association Yasser bin Hassan Al-Mishal.

The crown prince congratulated everyone on qualifying for the World Cup, noting the continuous role and effort exerted to ensure qualification; saying the achievement had become a necessity for Saudis and the national team, SPA reported.
