Hayya card holders now able to obtain free electronic visas to enter Saudi Arabia: Ministry

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs launched on Sunday a service through which Hayya card holders can obtain a free electronic visa to enter the Kingdom.

Anyone attending any of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 matches is required to apply for a Hayya card from the Qatari authorities. It acts as a visa, match ticket, transport ticket, and gives access to some fan zones.

Hayya card holders can complete their Saudi visa application at https://visa.mofa.gov.sa.

Qatar said Sunday that more than 1.5 million people have applied for the compulsory pass for the World Cup, that begins on November 20.
