RIYADH: One of Saudi Arabia’s priorities is to continue empowering the youth as part of its Saudi Vision 2030 efforts, the Kingdom’s Ambassador to the US Princess Reema bint Bandar said on Friday, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
“We Saudis are an emerging nation, 75% of our population is under the age of 35,” the ambassador said during her speech at the “PRIORITY” Summit organized by the Future Investment Initiative (FII) Institute in New York – which was held on the sidelines of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

“The success of our youth tomorrow depends on our success today,” she said.
“I firmly believe that our priority should be our youth because they represent the future, and I am confident in what we can achieve together.”
The Kingdom has built stronger job growth in the private sector, encourage entrepreneurship, sustainable development, and renewable energy, as well as built a world-leading digital infrastructure, Princess Reema added.
On the social level, Saudi Arabia has also achieved higher levels of women’s empowerment, equity, and cultural inclusion, SPA cited her as saying.
