- Platform will offer users Saudi-themed playlists, exclusive deals and a live radio broadcast
LONDON: Middle East streaming platform Anghami on Thursday announced the release of exclusive content and customized experiences to celebrate the 92nd Saudi National Day.
Anghami will mark the day with an exclusive homepage, tracks from top Saudi artists, and a one-off Saudi National Day Live Radio channel among other offerings.
“National Day is a day when we really want to ensure our local users embrace homegrown artistry and talent, from the likes of Tariq Abdulhakeem and Mohammed Abdu to MiKannibalz, EON and TamTam,” said Eddy Maroun, co-founder and CEO of Anghami.
Users of the Anghami app in the Kingdom will see a unique icon that will allow them to commemorate National Day with a special message, and patriotic playlists featuring Saudi musicians and artists.
In keeping with the event’s theme of “Hia Lana Dar — This is Our Home,” the streaming platform will also offer special Saudi National Day deals.
Celebrations will continue with a six-hour live radio broadcast featuring leading artists and music influencers playing a variety of popular Saudi music available on the platform.
Anghami is also preparing to publish a report outlining music trends in the Kingdom, highlighting the rising interest in culture, music and entertainment.
