RIYADH: The Japanese and South Korean ambassadors to the Kingdom visited the International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition in Malham, north of Riyadh on Saturday.

Fumio Iwai and Park Joon-yong toured the exhibition that includes more than 25 pavilions, and were briefed on the Saudi Falcons Club’s efforts to preserve Saudi cultural heritage, raise environmental awareness, and ensure the continuation of falconry as a hobby.

The ambassadors were also briefed on the area designated to falcon production farms where the international auction of falcon production farms will be held in conjunction with the exhibition.

More than 40 leading farms from more than 17 countries will participate in the auction that runs until September 3.

They were also shown around the arms pavilion, which includes seven Saudi companies representing more than 55 international brands.
