DUBAI: British Moroccan actor Youssef Kerkour is set to lead the upcoming comedy drama “Significant Other,” by the UK’s streaming service ITVX.

The “House of Gucci” actor will star alongside British actress Katherine Parkinson.

The series tells the story of Anna and Sam, two lonely neighbors in their mid-40s, “who embark on a hesitant, obstacle-filled relationship after drastic life events bring them together,” read the logline.

The show will be directed by “Home” filmmaker David Sant and produced by Quay Street Productions, part of ITV Studios.

The production team will start filming “Significant Other” in September in Manchester, UK.

“So happy to be able to share this with you all,” wrote Kerkour on Instagram.
