Sarwa launches cryptocurrency trading on its app
Sarwa, a personal finance and investing platform, is including cryptocurrency trading on its app in response to demand and market insights, according to a statement.
Sarwa CEO and Co-Founder Mark Chahwan said: “There is a significant amount of interest around cryptocurrency in the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council), even with the recent market development. Yet you didn’t have a platform that offered a centralized view of stocks, ETFs (exchange traded funds), and crypto in one safe, innovative and easy-to-use app. You do now.”
Sarwa Trade, the platform’s trading product, has been used by retail investors to buy and sell US-listed stocks and exchange-traded funds.
Sarwa Crypto now provides commission-free trading of Bitcoin, Ether, Litecoin, and Bitcoin Cash to UAE-residents with zero transfer fees and tight spreads, the statement added.
