Tabuk governor inaugurates 26 development projects worth$667m

RIYADH: Tabuk Gov. Prince Fahd bin Sultan on Monday inaugurated 26 water, environmental and agricultural projects worth SR2.5 billion ($667 million). 

He inaugurated four desalination projects costing SR1 billion, and 5 projects for water transmission systems valued at SR1 billion. 

In addition to four projects worth SR84 million for water services in the region, the governor also opened seven projects for developing water resources at a cost of SR100 million. 

While 5 projects worth SR99 million were launched for environmental services and a project for the development of marine resources at a cost of SR20 million was also inaugurated.
