AMMAN: A delegation from the UN High Commissioner for Refugees recently visited the medical clinics of the King Salman Humanitarian and Relief Center in the Zaatari camp for Syrian refugees in Jordan and inspected a newly added occupational therapy department.
The delegation praised the high-quality health services offered by the clinics to the camp's refugees as they contributed to improving living conditions and providing all necessary medical care to the sick and injured.
Meanwhile, KSrelief handed over the Kingdom's gift to Kazakhstan, including 25 tons of dates.
Aid was provided by the representative of the Saudi ambassador to Kazakhstan, Abdul Qader Al-Ali, in the presence of the representative of the religious administration of the Muslim community of Kazakhstan, Kinjali Mirza Ali, and a team from the center.
In Chad, KSrelief distributed 420 food baskets to vulnerable families in N'Djamena as part of the relief programs provided by the Kingdom to vulnerable countries and people.
The gift falls within the relief and humanitarian programs from Saudi Arabia to several countries to help the most vulnerable families in different regions.
In Yemen, KSrelief extended a volunteer medical campaign for plastic surgery, burns, and deformities in Aden governorate.
Its volunteer medical team has examined 306 patients and performed 70 surgeries that were all successful. It falls within the relief and humanitarian projects provided by the Kingdom, through the center, to support the country's medical sector.
