RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Chief of General Staff Lt. Gen. Fayyad bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili met Gen. Nadeem Raza, chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee of the Pakistan Armed Forces, and an accompanying delegation at Diriyah Joint Operations Center, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Friday.
During their meeting, Lt. Gen. Al-Ruwaili welcomed Gen. Raza in the Kingdom, wishing him and his companions a pleasant stay.
Gen. Raza expressed his happiness to visit the Kingdom. He spoke of his appreciation for the generous hospitality he and his delegation received in the Kingdom.
Gen. Raza said the meeting was the sixth of its kind to be held by the Saudi-Pakistani Military Committee, and he spoke of the solid relations between the two fraternal countries.
The two sides reviewed the prospects of military cooperation and ways to enhance it, in addition to discussing issues of common interest.
