RIYADH: One-stop-shop doctor booking platform Okadoc has appointed Rafat Taher as CEO for Saudi Arabia, in a bid to strengthen its business in the Kingdom.
Prior to joining Okadoc, Taher held several executive positions, including CEO of VPS Saudi Arabia, CEO of One Healthcare group, and others, according to a statement.
“Okadoc’s mission has always been to improve the healthcare experience for all,” the newly appointed CEO said.
“Our strategy across the Kingdom will help providers and insurers unlock the power of technology to ensure they are maximizing both business and health outcomes, while increasing patient engagement and satisfaction,” he added.
Since its launch in 2020, UAE-headquartered Okadoc has seen 34 times growth in hybrid health appointments, conducting over 75,000 video consultations.
