RIYADH: The Middle East’s ‘buy now, pay later’ provider Tabby has joined hands with Visa, to launch a virtual Tabby Visa card that will help customers make in-store payments more easily, the company said in a statement.

Tabby said customers can add these digital cards to their digital wallets and tap at the payment terminal.

These cards will also allow customers to split their purchases into four interest-free payments at selected brands, including IKEA, Nike, Adidas, Level Shoes, Aldo, and Dyson.

“The Tabby Card will take our in-store solution to new heights, creating a truly seamless omni-channel experience for customers to pay over time, interest-free,” said Daniil Barkalov, chief operating officer and co-founder of Tabby.

Visa’s General Manager for the UAE, Bahrain and Oman, Shahebaz Khan, said: “The Tabby Visa Card allows cardholders to evenly distribute the cost of goods at participating merchants, thereby reducing the burden on their budget. For merchants, this will mean increased sales and better conversion rates.”
