Essam Alnuman has been the vice president of Digital Health in the Eastern Health Cluster since September 2021.
He has held various positions in the digital transformation programs of the region for over 15 years.
Alnuman served as the ITC director of the Security Forces Hospital program in Dammam from May 2019 to August 2021. During this time, he led the digital transformation committee for medical services at the Ministry of Interior, coordinating teams in various locations that were able to comply with the government’s strategic vision.
In 2020, he was nominated to serve as one of the G20 Summit’s experts and participated as a consultant in digital health strategies.
Alnuman has contributed to transformation strategies at several hospitals and healthcare facilities, including Saud Al-Babtain Cardiac Center and Prince Sultan Cardiac Center. In addition, he has acted as a director of applications for the Royal Commission Health Services Program.
He believes in teamwork with a focus on aligning strategy to realities on the ground, and developing the skills of regional leaders, which he regards as essential to achieving the targets set by the government’s Saudi Vision 2020 program.
Alnuman advocates customer-centric solutions and is open to creative and innovative ways of thinking, aimed at providing the best patient experience for those seeking healthcare solutions.
He obtained his bachelor’s degree in the UK in 2012 and is accredited to design project management, change management and IT strategies.
