BAHA: Baha Gov. Prince Hussam bin Saud has honored four Saudi citizens for their lifesaving acts of bravery during torrential rains in Al-Aqiq governorate, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Tuesday.
Tariq Ayed Al-Ghamdi and Nayef Ayed Al-Ghamdi received the governor’s recognition after rescuing a 60-year-old man and his sheep from floodwaters.
Prince Hussam also honored Capt. Saad Bakhit Jubran Al-Ghamdi, a search and rescue volunteer, and Saeed Ayed Ghasham Al-Ghamdi for saving a man whose car was swept away in the deluge that hit Al-Aqiq.
The recipients said Prince Hussam’s support and recognition of their actions had filled them with pride and further motivated them in the service of their country.
