Cambodian prime minister receives Saudi FM in Phnom Penh

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan meets Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen at the Peace Palace in Phnom Penh on Friday. (SPA)

PHNOM PENH: Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen received Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan at the Peace Palace in Phnom Penh on Friday during his first official visit to the Southeast Asian country.
Prince Faisal conveyed greetings from King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, as well as their wishes for Cambodia’s progress and prosperity.
The two men discussed bilateral relations and the opportunities to develop them, as well as a number of regional and international issues of common interest.
The Saudi minister also met his Cambodian counterpart Prak Sokhonn for similar talks.
Both meetings were attended by Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Vietnam and Cambodia Saud bin Fahd Al-Suwailem and Abdulrahman Al-Daoud, director general of the foreign minister’s office.
