Saudi, Greek top investment officials hold talks in Riyadh

RIYADH: Saudi and Greek top investment officials are holding talks in the Saudi capital on Sunday to discuss cooperation.

Officias from both sides including Saudi Minister of Investment Khaled Al-Falih, Adonis Georgiadis Greek Minister of Development and Investment, and Kostas Fragogiannis Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in Economic Diplomacy are speaking at a special investment forum in Riyadh.

Al-Falih told the Saudi-Greek investment forum that toruism is a key area for cooperation between both nations as the Kingdom plans 500,000 new hotel rooms and targets 100 million visitors per year by 2030.

HIGHLIGHTS

• Minister of investment Khalid Al-Falih noted that he is impressed with the bilateral investment treaty which will increase investment opportunities for Greece in the country

• Adonis Georgiadis, Greece minister of development and investment lauded Vision 2030 reforms, adding that his country is ready to do business with Saudi Arabia in all areas including tourism and energy
