HRC report lauds Saudi Arabia’s human rights measures

RIYADH: The Saudi Human Rights Commission has released its international report, coinciding with the 49th session of the UN Human Rights Council, highlighting the significant advancements undertaken by the Kingdom to protect residents and citizens.

The report highlights various changes to the country’s laws and institutions to improve efficiencies, including the judiciary and criminal justice system. The Kingdom has also invested heavily in women’s empowerment programs, combating human trafficking, and protecting worker rights.

The report was issued in English, French, Spanish, and German, and was disseminated to the international media on the organization’s platforms.
