American aviation giant Boeing has suspended all support for Russian airlines and its operations in Moscow, according to an FT report.

“We have suspended major operations in Moscow and temporarily closed our office in Kyiv,” said a Boeing spokesperson.

The aerospace giant has a research and technology center in Moscow.

The company also has employees, operators, and suppliers all across Russia.

Boeing has already closed its Kyiv office for security reasons, and paused operations at its Moscow training campus.

“As the conflict continues, our teams are focused on ensuring the safety of our teammates in the region,” the company added.

Meanwhile, other prominent US air carriers including Delta Air Lines, American Airlines, and United Airlines have also decided to suspend flying over Russian airspace.
