Saudi National Bank, also known as AlAhli Bank, is the largest financial institution in Saudi Arabia and one of the biggest finance powerhouses of the region. Founded in 1953 as the National Commercial Bank (NCB), it merged with Samba Financial Group in April 2021 and was renamed Saudi National Bank.

SNB was the highest ranked of 30 newcomers to the list this year. A brand value of $3.2 billion earned it the 94th position globally and sixth place among institutions based in the Middle East and North Africa. Qatar National Bank retained top spot among the region’s banking brands.
