RIYADH: Saudi Arabia's Diriyah Gate Development Authority, known as DGDA, announced that its subsidiary Diriyah Development Co., or Devco, awarded a SR1.2 billion ($311 million) contract to NESMA & Partners to build the principal Diriyah Interchange on Riyadh's Western Ring Road.
The WRR, as the project is known, would enable traffic movement between zones of the Diriyah Gate project and the city's arterial motorways, according to a statement by DGDA.
DGDA was created in 2017 with a mandate to transform the Diriyah historical area into an iconic destination for tourists.
