SHABWA: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center has distributed 96.3 tons of food baskets to the Shabwa governorate in Yemen, benefiting 5,400 individuals.
KSrelief is also providing medical treatment services in the Hayran district of the Hajjah governorate in Yemen.
From Jan. 13-18, the center’s clinics received 694 patients with various health conditions in different clinics and departments, providing them with the necessary medical services.
The clinics also supplied 347 individuals with medications.
In January, the center signed a cooperation agreement with UNICEF to provide basic health services for mothers and newborns, according to the humanitarian response plan for Yemen, with a value of $10 million.
The agreement stipulates providing free basic health services for obstetrics and gynecology emergency and care services, increasing the preparedness of the Yemeni health sector with medical equipment for newborns.
