RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center is turned into an independent, non-profit institution, a statement revealed citing a royal decree.
The decision aims at making it one of the best health centers worldwide, the statement added.
KFSHRC, as the healthcare provider is known, will develop its services, capacity, and medical research as well as open new branches.
“This step is a major enabler of the transformation journey that the hospital has embarked on to achieve its objectives, in line with the goals of Vision 2030 in order to improve the quality of healthcare as well as the quality of life in the Kingdom,” Fahd Al-Rasheed, CEO of said the Royal Commission for Riyadh City, said.
KFSHRC was founded in 1976 in Riyadh to serve society with the highest level of healthcare and best patient experience in an integrated education and research setting.
