Saudi chief of staff meets US naval forces commander

RIYADH: Saudi Arabian military chief of staff Gen. Fayyad Al-Ruwaili met the commander of the US Naval Forces Central Command, Vice Adm. Charles Cooper, in Riyadh on Thursday.

During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues of common interest and cooperation between the Saudi and American naval forces to ensure the security and stability of the region.

The meeting was attended by the commander of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces, Gen. Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Ghufaili.
