Who’s Who: Ibrahim Al-Sheikh, chairman of the National Industrial Committee of the Council of Saudi Chambers

Ibrahim Al-Sheikh has been the chairman of the National Industrial Committee of the Council of Saudi Chambers since Feb 2021. He has also been a member of the board of directors of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Eastern Province since 2014.
As chairman of the board of directors of Al-Sheikh Industrial and Commercial Group, he founded several successful companies, including Saudi Call Trading Co., Abreez Real Estate Co., Mawad Drilling, the Khobar Gate Tower and a joint stock company in cooperation with Saudi Aramco.
Al-Sheikh has launched and participated in many initiatives during his work in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Eastern Province such as the Tagseer Project, to help achieve horizontal and vertical economic integration between factories.
Another initiative is the Tasheel Program, through which the Eastern Province Chamber coordinates with major strategic companies such as Aramco, SABIC, Maaden, Saudi Electricity, Tahlia and others on one side and between businessmen and local investors on the other, with the aim of recording contracting procedures and offering purchase opportunities.
Recently, Al-Sheikh has been focusing on issues within industry and how to improve industrial development in line with Vision 2030.
Al-Sheikh graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Arab Academy for Science and Technology followed by a diploma in information technology from London Business School.
