Kuwait emir hands crown prince some of emir's duties

DUBAI: The Emir of Kuwait announed a royal order that authorizes the nation's crown prince to temporarily exercise some of the Emir's constitutional powers, according to state-run KUNA news agency. 

A statement released by the Emiri Diwan affairs ministry said the royal order announced on Monday gives Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah some constitutional rights of Kuwaiti Emir  Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
