RIYADH: Maj. Gen. Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Moghedi, acting secretary-general of the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition, met the ambassador of South Korea to Saudi Arabia, Park Joon-yong, and his delegation, at the headquarters of the coalition in Riyadh on Sunday.
During the meeting, the ambassador was briefed on the coalition’s efforts to combat terrorism and the role it plays in coordinating the activities of its member states.
Al-Moghedi praised the role of South Korea in combating terrorism and violent extremism in all its forms and fields, its membership of key regional and international organizations, its rejection of violence and extremism, and its promotion of tolerance and fraternity.
