Alujain Holding Corp’s net profit for the first nine months of 2021 climbed by 37 percent to SR209 million ($55.7 million) after a jump in its profit share of NATPET.
National Medical Care Company made a net profit of SR99.6 million in the first nine months of this year. It reported a 32.4 percent rise in its profits due to higher volumes of business with insurance, GOSI, cash patients and direct contracts.
Najran Cement Company reported a net profit of SR129.5 million, which was up by 7.5 percent. Lower finance expenses contributed to the rise in profits.
Insurance companies’ earnings
Arabian Shield Cooperative Insurance Co. made a profit of SR34.9 million to the end of September. This was 4.5 percent higher than the previous period due to higher commission income.
Alahli Takaful Co. announced a net profit of SR3.9 million to the end of September. Profits fell sharply by 44.3 percent compared to the same period last year as the company recorded a provision for VAT on insurance policies.
Additionally, Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance Co. saw a surge in its before-zakat net loss for the nine month period, falling sharply by 92.2 percent to a loss of 42.5 million. This was driven by a fall in underwriting income.
